October 2009 Meeting Notice
The next meeting of the City Island Civic Association will be on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Island Community Center, 190 Fordham Street.
Progress reports with the issues of crime prevention, quality of life, traffic, and development will be presented by the committee chairs. Bill Stanton will bring us up-to-date on the progress of the on-going police matters.
Bruno E. Iciano, Community Coordinator, Office of Community Affairs, NYC Department of Sanitation, will be our guest to discuss a possible pilot program to help seniors shovel snow. He will also assist in our community clean up day on November 7th.
Elections will be held for the 2010 Officers. The slate is as follows: Fred Ramftl for First Vice President, John Doyle for Corresponding Secretary and Tom Smith for Treasurer.
If you have not paid your 2009 dues, you will not be allowed to vote so, please make sure your dues are up-to-date.
