Crime Report: Bill Stanton reported that as many as 30 were keyed recently from Reville and Tier Streets along King and Minneford to Terrace Street. Some tires were also slashed, and a car parked at King Avenue and Bowne Street had its rearview mirror broken. The money for the security cameras has still not been released by Albany but John Doyle is working on it. Please give any relevant information to Bill Stanton.

Tom Smith, treasurer, reported that there was $ 14,875.29 in the regular Civic account and $10,084 in the SONE account, most of which was funding deposited by the 33 Tier Street owners association to prevent development of the Tier Street wetlands.

Traffic: Paul Nani was unable to attend, but all agreed that thanks to the efforts
of the 45th precinct, traffic control is much improved over previous years.
Crime: Bill Stanton reported that there has been a tremendous number of noise
complaints from the various restaurants, especially Seafood City. Live music is
being played outdoors or blasted from cars in the parking lots. Residents are

President Bill Stanton pointed out that only 1 to 2 percent of City Island residents attend this meeting; we would like to have more participation to confront the problems with graffiti, traffic, over development, and drug use.
